Mission Statement

Our Mission is to create a technology-rich community, support technology entrepreneurship, and connect technology professionals with appropriate resources in the Florida Suncoast region, in short… to “accelerate our technology economy.”

Our Vision is to become a powerful, recognized force in helping the bi-county area diversify its being a premier retirement and tourism venue to being also known as a technology center on the west coast of Florida. Further, we strive to become “The” organization representing the interests of technology entrepreneurs and technologists in the region… helping them prosper and serve the greater community.

To help us achieve our mission and realize our vision, the organization focuses on the following initiatives:

• Increase membership value – help members extract additional return on their membership investment through sponsoring and attending STF informational and social events and/or participating on one or more of the committees.
• Continue to deliver events that provide true business value – provide topics of broad interest, credible and knowledgeable speakers and valuable networking opportunities.
• Continue to build strong relationships with other community and membership organizations – Economic Development Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, The Tampa Bay Technology Forum, The Florida High Tech Corridor, The Florida Venture Forum and others.
• Continue to develop and evolve the Suncoast Technology Forum website – Increase its informational and functional capabilities for the benefit of all.
